Attaching Your Patch

Iron-on and Sew

Thanks for purchasing this handmade piece of industrial art. The thread is either a wool, cotton, or acrylic blend. The backing is also a wool felt blend. Your embroidered patch is machine washable with care; do not use bleach.

For Best Results:

  1. Remove “Glue Dot” and ensure your fabric is clean and wrinkle free.
  2. Pre-heat your fabric using it's recommended ironing temperature, and position your patch..
  3. Turn both the fabric and the attached patch over and iron until fully attached at the temperature recommended for the fabric.
  4. Iron with moderate pressure for about 15 seconds and let cool
  5. If the edge can be lifted repeat step 4.
  6. Sew the edges of your patch with a chain, zig-zag, or straight stitch.  Of course, there’s always a needle and thread as well.
